Unable to reset forms to default

I have a working list with configured forms and want to use that on another Site Collection with standard forms.
My steps are:
1. Save list as template
2. move the template to another Site Collection
3. Create new list from template
4. Use Form Designer to reset forms
I get a success message that forms were resetted but all requests were still redirected to e.g. fd_xxxx_New.aspx which does not exist.
Also tried to use SharePoint Designer to delete and re create all standard forms there, without success.
How to make this scenario to work?

Hello, Alex!
I've just tested and regular Forms get resetted normally, but perhaps you are using Form Sets or different Forms for different users?
Please, also tell us your version of Sharepoint - Online or On-Premises?

Hi Nikita
I'm using Forms on a list with enabled Content Types. There are different Forms for each Content Type.
SharePoint 2016 is onPrem.

Okay, did you reset every form for all content types? And can you show us exactly what requests get redirected to non-existing forms?
I am assuming that you are just clicking New Item, but that shouldn't give any errors if the forms are reset.

It also shouldn't happen if you try to edit or display existing items.
So, please, send us some screenshots of the error you are getting and what you do to make it appear. Also, please make sure that you've reset every single form, there still might be some left and now causing some errors.

After re creating the list from template the form:
- 2017-10-25_12h37_09.png (150.56 KiB) Viewed 1273 times
After resetting Form:
- 2017-10-25_12h39_41.png (50.25 KiB) Viewed 1273 times
I also checked it with the SP Designer and there is no fd_Project_New.aspx file on that list.
Doing this steps for all Forms on all Content Types I'm unable to open any forms on that list, becaouse I always being redirected to fd_xxx_yyy.aspx which does not exist.

Thank you for the info, that's what I suspected, we'll take a closer look at it. Last question - what do you do to open the form again after resetting it? Just click New Item or something else?

Okay, it seems like you'll need to use Sharepoint Designer (can be
downloaded from Microsoft, if you don't have it installed) to check Form URLs for different content types. If you open your site in Sharepoint Designer, go to Lists and Libraries, select the list you've created from template, you'll notice Content Types section in it:
- SharepointDesignerContentTypes.png (4.88 KiB) Viewed 1268 times
If you click on a content type in the list, you'll be able to check URLs of its forms:
- SharepointDesignerContentTypeForms.png (3.59 KiB) Viewed 1268 times
If they are not empty, try to delete them, that should resolve the issue. But please, let us know what you find there, so we can look further into this issue.

Yes, it normally should, but as far as I understand that didn't happen for you? We'll do some tests and if we'll figure out why it didn't happen to hopefully fix it in the future.
What version of Forms Designer you are using by the way? It's in the bottom right corner of the designer:
