Custom form for Document Library?

Hi - I'm using Sharepoint 2013 in 365. I'd like to import documents into a document library and during the import let users enter some meta data to link that document to a project and a company, preferably using lookup tables.

I've added the lookup fileds to my document library and created custom forms for new / edit / display, but there is no option to create a custom 'upload' form.

When i try and add a document, i just get the default upload form. Am i doing somthing wrong? Any help appreciated!

Thanks for your question.

Actually, SharePoint documents do not support new forms. You have to upload a document first and then you can edit its properties on the edit form.
