having trouble creating a custom Edit/Display properties (for Document Library)

I'm attempting to create a custom edit/display properties form on a document library I'm building.

Forms Designer works on other web applications I have, but not this current one. Have deployed/retracted a few times, to no avail.

Seems like the app didn't install properly on the WFE. Can you go to Central administration -> System settings -> Manage farm solutions and see the status and provide a screenshot.

Hello thebrightlord,

Please try to reinstall the desktop designer or try from another PC.
That is required to check that the error is not caused by the specific configuration of particular PC.

I did not recall at first, I had this error about 10 months ago, and fixed it then. Forms Designer for whatever reason, in SharePoint 2016 won't save forms based on a Web Application running Classic (Windows auth). It'll load them fine, and even store them, but not save them. Convert to Claims and all is forgiven. Thank you for looking into this, mnikitina.
