Occasional Incorrect Link

Every once in a while a form I create will open up the wrong form.

When I click edit on the main list it opens different list.

If I examine the list GUID it is different from the list I am on. Anyone else see this? If so how do they get around it?

Have you restored this list from a template or transferred via site template? What version of Forms Designer are you using? You can find the version in the bottom-right corner of Forms Designer.

Yes. Since I have an average of 5-10 external forms per form I generally reuse a template to cut down on time then drop the parent link then redo the parent link.I also use the SPFORM template to make it pretty.

What version of Forms Designer are you using?

Currently 3.05. But ithappened occasionally in 2.9.1. I did not notice it in 2.8.

This only happens occasionally. In the past I was able to fix it just by resetting the form in SPForm and reloading the backup template.

You'll need to export your forms from the source site and import them to the site that was created using a template (don't forget to save when you import) to fix your problem.

Forms Designer 3.0.1 and higher supports templates, so for the future you'd be better off installing Forms Designer 3.0.1+ to the source site collection and resaving all forms on your source site. Then save the site as a template and use that template for creating other sites.
