Suggestion: Create a list views customization tool

I really wish you guys would create a tool to customize list views. I have spent all day working on getting the JSLink to work on my SharePoint Online site without any success.
I think it would be nice if we could assign a class name to each field, and then include a css that styles those class types. I have no idea how you would do this but it would sure make my life better.
