Is it possible to have the cascading drop down filter to work in Quick Edit mode? I need to edit multiple items quickly but when I'm not in the form and in Quick Edit mode it doesn't seem to filter from the parent properly.

Unfortunately, Cross-site Lookup does not support quick editing mode. Possibly, we will support it in the future.
