Trigger Save Event

I have a button with an onclick function that prompts the user for input. Based upon the input value I would like to be able to trigger Save to save the item. I have tried save() but it is not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You need to activate buttons feature (click Buttons button on the ribbon of Forms Designer) and put a Save button instead of a regular button onlo your form. Please, get more info in the following post:
