Cross-Site Lookup Different Site Collection Problem

Hello;

While I was using Cross-site lookup , if change another site collection I got error below.If I use default site collection there isn't any problem.But changed another site collection,below error message show.I search form about this problem but ı couldn't any respone.Can we use cross-site lookup on different site collections?

Hello!

Cross-site lookup is meant to be used with different sites within one site collection, you cannot use it to reference a list in a different site collection.
