I installed Forms Designer this week on our O365 Sharepoint online domain.

It's a great tool but I have problems saving forms:

very often when I save a form, I cannot see the changes reflected in another browser window after a refresh (F5 or even CTRL-F5).
also very often when I change elements on an existing form, the save button stays disabled so I cannot save. I have to do a refresh but then I loose my changes and have to restart modifying.
the same thing occurs when changing styles or CSS. Somtimes the changes take effect and sometimes not.
do I have to change settings in central admin or in the site or sitecollection?
I have full adminstrator permissions

I use IE11 for modyfing forms, and use Chrome to see the results.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thank you for your appreciation of our tool!

Regarding your issues:

1. When the form is saved in Forms Designer (FD) you should see a popup message in the top right corner saying that the save has been made and the save button will go from disabled to enabled. That's when you should see the change in your browser. Note, that if that's the first time you save this particular form in FD you might have to go to the list view and navigate to the form from there (FD doesn't replace the old SP form, but it creates its own form and changes appropriate links to direct to it). Also, be sure to clear your browser's cache (might be easier to bring up the developer's console by pressing F12, then pressing F1 and ticking "Disable cache" ).

2. The button stays disabled if the change you tried to commit hasn't gone through. You need to wait for the save button to become enabled and a popup message saying that the save has gone through. Otherwise, if you're waiting for a long time and nothing's happening, try exporting the form (via the export button at the top of FD), refreshing FD and importing the exported file. -

3. I assume you're talking about CSS changes you make in FD, that'll be the same as point #2.

4. Are you having problems saving the form (i.e. you don't get the message that the form is saved)?

Hi

I've been working again with the forms designer but this time one form at a time (display, edit, new).

When I save multiple forms via the save dropdown it feels like I have more problems.

In the meantime I keep an eye on the save button to see if it is enabled.

If it's disabled I do a refresh before modifying anything.

I will also disable the cache (F12> F1) while testing.

I see the popup message saving the changes. That is no problem.

Probably I'll have to wait a little longer to see the changes. Maybe I'm to enthousiastic :-)

Thanks for your suggestions.

One more question: I subscribed for 100 support minutes. How do I contact Plumsail if I have very specific questions or problems?
