Forms Designer Icon not showing

for one of my developers the Forms Designer Icon is not appearing on a specific list. For me it shows on this list, and the developer sees it on other lists, just not this one.

I have seen in a similar post where the recommendation is to use the client-based application to start Forms Designer. While this workaround is better than nothing,, it is NOT a FixI would like to see a resolution.

Dear skiptheb,
You are still using Desktop application, just open it from the browser, am I correct? Not sure what is causing it, is there anything specific about this list that makes it different from other lists? And finally, what's the version of your SharePoint?

15.0.4971.1001

Yes is what we want (open desktop application from icon on List in browser)

List is normal, nothing special.

Okay, so it's SP On-Premises. Try to deactivate Forms Designer collection feature and activate it again. I do not guarantee it will solve the issue, but it's worth a try.
