Missing New Button in Related Item
Hi I came across the issue as follows.
Parent List Permission : View / Edit
Related List Permission : Contribute
Once the list is using the modern experience, opening the parent form, the new button on the related item (regular mode) is not displaying.
In classic mode, the new button appears. Changing the render mode from client to server when using classic mode, displays the new button, however it breaks in the background , with a related item code error.
Is there a workaround or fix for this ?

Hi, I am unable to share the form here, would you like to view it via Team Viewer ?
The permissions is the same as above, I should have explained the "view & edit" doesn't allow the user to add items or delete items, just to view and edit only. If I remove the root url when using the modern experience, the new button is then visible.

Dear kb000,
You can send us a screenshot with the description of an issue to support@spform.com
It sounds rather strange, and we don't exactly know what you mean by Modern experience with Forms Designer, as Forms Designer forms only support classic UI, they cannot be opened with Modern UI. So it shouldn't produce any errors, no matter how the Lists are rendered, as the form itself will always have the classic look.
We do have another product, for SharePoint Online, designed to work specifically with Modern UI - Plumsail Forms. It's very similar to Forms Designer, but works only in Modern UI, scales well for all screen sizes, has no limits on the number of fields and much more, you might want to check it out!
