I'm sorry that I didn't suggest this topic right away, it's very close to your issue: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2202&start=10

Dear RMIC,
Not sure what Workflow you are talking about, can you describe the whole situation step by step?
1) Which Workflow are you using?
2) What are you trying to achieve?
3) What happens instead?
The more we know, the better we can help, but we can't do much more with the limited information we have.

Dear Nikita,
I have the following situation:
- SharePoint Foundation 2013
- SharePoint Designer 2010 Workflow -> is an approval workflow that generates tasks
- is a task completed, the workflow generates a new task
- I would like to edit the forms of the generated tasks with Forms Designer
My problem:
- if I edit the task forms with Forms Designer and approve a task, the task is completed, but no new task is generated by the workflow
- works with standard SharePoint forms (the workflow works)
All solutions mentioned in this blog post do not work.
With the link https://spform.com/buttons/change-appro ... -edit-form I can complete the task, but the workflow does not generate the following tasks.
Could you please help me?
Thanks!

Dear RMIC,
If I understand correctly, it should like this:
1) SP 2010 Workflow - triggers when Task changes
2) If Status == Complete
3) Create New Task
Is that the case? This should happen with Forms Designer as well. What is your trigger for the Workflow?

Dear Nikita,
the process is as follows:
1. The workflow is started manually on a document.
2. The workflow generates an approval task. The workflow waits for the user to complete the task.
3. The workflow then generates a second approval task. The workflow waits for the user to complete the task.
It works well with the standard task forms.
If I create the task forms with the Forms Designer, the workflow does not continue after step 2. That means he does not generate any further tasks.
