Hi,

we have an error with the default list forms. We have multiple sites with working forms designer forms, all fine.
But one site/list makes errors with the execute of the forms created with forms designer. If I use the the "New task" Link above the list or the "Edit" Link of one task/entry I always get a default sharepoint form. If I use the upper Menu under "Tasks" - New/Edit Element then the forms designer form will be used.
I tried to delete all forms completely and recreate them manually but it didn't solve the problem. Also a restart of sharepoint server (windows updates) didn't do something.
Perhaps someone had an equal error and could help me?

Thanks

Hi,
Most likely, you have multiple content types in the list but designed forms for just one. You can change a content type in the upper-right corner of the designer window. If it does not help, please, provide complete URLs of both forms: default and custom ones.

No I don't have multiple content types in this list and so we cannot change it in the upper corner.

The links look like following:
Edit Entry
directly in list:
[...]01-orga/_layouts/15/listform.aspx?PageType=6&ListId=%7BF3EB3F78%2D0D6C%2D4FB5%2DA8C0%2DF0E6BF3448B5%7D&ID=428

out of the menu:
(only in the target url, I cannot check the link directly because of javascript)
[...]01-orga/Lists/Aufgabenliste/fd_Aufgaben_Edit.aspx?List=f3eb3f78-0d6c-4fb5-a8c0-f0e6bf3448b5&ID=428&Source=[...]%2fSitePages%2fAbteilungsaufgaben.aspx&ContentTypeId=0x010800E4A9B431C140484181B213BFCAC47973

It seems that the Links in the entrys are wrong or something, but how to change this?

Could you copy and paste here URL from your browser after opening each form: custom and default?

Out of the list entry (in the brackets are our internal webserver names):
[...]01-orga/Lists/Aufgabenliste/edit.aspx?ID=428&Source=[...]%2F01%2Dorga%2FSitePages%2FMitarbeiteraufgaben%2Easpx

Out of Edit Button of the menu:
[...]01-orga/Lists/Aufgabenliste/fd_Aufgaben_b8ebe8dc-3814-4d14-b6cb-985dd015fe6c_Edit.aspx?List=f3eb3f78-0d6c-4fb5-a8c0-f0e6bf3448b5&ID=428&Source=[...]%2f01-orga%2fSitePages%2fMitarbeiteraufgaben.aspx&ContentTypeId=0x010800E4A9B431C140484181B213BFCAC47973

It's not a default form: edit.aspx. Have you created it in SharePoint Designer or InfoPath?

Created with Sharepoint Designer. Just a new form type (like edit in this example) and set as default, no changes after that. I took another name because I thought sharepoint maybe remembers such things (like I said I already tried to solve the error).

Then just revert a default edit form, EditForm.aspx.

I did this twice, but only works out of the menu band, not out of list element edit-link. Its just like it doesnt recognize that the forms designer form should be loaded out of the listform.aspx file.

Do you mean that you opened SharePoint Designer and restored default EditForm.aspx? If so, try to remove your custom form (form.aspx). If nothing helps, please, purchase 60 support minutes and provide temporary access to your site.
