Custom Form for Document Library
Hello!
I'm looking into alternatives for InfoPath and stumbled across this.
Quick question: do your forms allow customizing the new form for Document Library content types? Currently InfoPath doesn't allow us to custom libraries, only list content types.
Thank you!

Hello!
Custom Forms are possible for Document Libraries, including Forms for different Content Types, but what do you mean by New Form? There simply aren't any New Forms for Document Libraries, because you either create a new document and start working with it or upload an existing document, neither of which has a Form to edit. It is possible for Document Sets and Content Types derived from them, though.
But you can create custom Edit(Properties) and Display Form for Document Libraries just as easily as you can create Forms for Lists. And there is also advanced functionality for our Related Items control, which allows you to upload documents to document library from other Forms, populating all the fields with JavaScript - https://spform.com/javascript-framework ... ctionality
Try our trial version of Forms Designer and see for yourself if our solution works for you or not - https://spform.com/download
If the trial period is too short, we can prolong it on request, so you can perform all the required tests. We are also glad to answer any questions you might have about our products.
