The "XsltListViewWebPart" Web Part appears to be causing a problem.
Hi there.
I had a fully functional form with related-items. Picked up the problem yesterday when trying to open the parent form, the subject error appears.
When navigating to the Web Parts Maintenance Page, resetting the web part makes no difference. When deleting it, it deletes the related-items table, and I can open the parent form again.
I have tried deleting the related-items, saving and then creating them again, but then the same error occurs.
Is there any way of fixing this without recreating the forms?
I have consulted Google and the Forums, but I cant seem to find the SharePoint equivalent of the error anywhere.

Dear Wikus,
Did this happen to one particular form with Related Items or to any parent form you might have? If you create a new one, with fresh lists, will it work?
One thing we can also recommend to try is IISReset if you are using SP On-Premises. It might help, it might not, but it shouldn't hurt.

Dear Wikus,
Can you try and recreate the same Related Items list, with the same configuration, just on another form? There must've been some change to its configuration, to its View settings or something along these lines.

I am having the same issue. It worked fine a few days ago... didn't make any changes and now:
Sorry, something went wrong
The "XsltListViewWebPart" Web Part appears to be causing a problem. Unable to find the specified file.
any help would be appreciated...

Just came back from holiday and 2 of my client sites have the same issue.
I had to delete the add-in which in turn removed the related-items just to be able to edit it. One of my clients had converted their entire quoting system to the SharePoint list and has now come to a stand-still due to this.

Hi!
It seems that this is a bug coming with the latest MS upgrade which is currently rolling out. You can find similar issues in the forums:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Fo ... sharepoint
https://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/qu ... able-to-fi
Also, I reproduced the issue without Forms Designer, see the attached video. Please, contact MS via Admin Center and leave comments in the forums above.
