people picker explanation text below the field is not displayed

the people picker field got an explanation text defined in the column, but below the field that text is not displayed. am i wrong here?

Hi,

Yes, that's true if you use the People Picker in client-side rendering mode. I'd recommend you add the description with help of Plain Text or HTML controls right in the Forms Designer.
