How to set an auto-increment field?

Hi Guys,

We would like to have an Item Count column on our list. I understand that the value should be populated first on a form field so that it will be stored on a column when we hit save. Can you help us how can we achieve this using Forms Designer?

Hello Arnel,

I do not exactly understand which value you wish to store in this field. Is it the number of items added before the current one? So, what if some items have been deleted? Should Item Count of other items be recalculated in this case?
