Related Items

I am using SP 2010 Foundation. I have a Client List and a Client Detail List. Client Detail List uses a lookup of Client Name from Client List. I create the Related Items portion in the Client form to show the Detail for the Client. The view appears to configure correctly in the Parent (Client) form, but when I open the Client Form, only the Attachment and Title appear with no filtering. I have tried this on several different test lists with the same results. Can you help? Thanks.
