We are using Plumsail lookups on one site successfully but when I try to add it from "apps" on the new site, I get this error:

An unexpected error has occurred.

Hello Dominique,

Is it a new Site Collection?

Have you enabled scripting capabilities on it?

Please find the instructions on how to enable scripting capabilities via PowerShell in this article, point 6.
