Forms Designer prompting to install each time in Chrome

Just recently, Chrome has not been automatically opening Forms Designer as it did. It prompts me to install each time and then have to enter in the URL to my SharePoint site manually. Is anybody else having this problem? Does anybody know of a fix? Thanks!

Dear ryankohn,
Unfortunately, right now this functionality is unavailable, since it is not supported by default and had to rely on external plugins in Chrome. But it's still available in MS Edge, for example.

Do you know if Chrome changed this recently? Because this was working for me just last week. I did see it works in IE, but I don't really care for that browser. Thanks for the reply!

Dear ryankohn,
Yeah, unfortunately, right now there is no support for Chrome to start the app, but if there is demand for it, it's likely that we'll spend time to bring it back.
