Save Popup Form without reload.

We use popup dialog forms with SP forms designer. When saving and closing the form gets the return page always automatically reloaded. This is ok when the return page is a simple list. But it interrupts the users workflow when the return page contains several web parts showing content based on a filter. The filter has to be re-entered after the auto reload.

How can we avoid the return page auto reload when saving a popup dialog form? Thank you in advance!

How do you open the popup dialog? Do you use fd.openFormInDialog function? Or do you open the child form from the Related items control?
