Migrating the list with forms to another site collection

Hi,

We are going to migrate our sites to another site collection and we have several forms connected to lists. They are not moved whe we copy all the content so i need to find the painless way to do that as some of them quite extensive. I tried to export / import, but it's not working and gives me an error that the list does not exists. Can you please help me with that?

It may be that you have a related items control that points to a list on another site. If so, your course of action:

-first, make sure that the target list is there (that you've migrated the source and the target lists - you should be migrating your sites via site templates)

-secondly, you'll need to open the form in Forms Designer and either resaving it will do, or you'll have to point the related items control manually to the target list
