Related-Items and Related-Docs on the same form

Hi there,

I have a dashboard of sorts, where i have tabs which hold related items in each successfully.
I would like to add another tab where i can also link related documents to.

Looking at the process (and i am no pro), i am not sure how i would go about adding the Java bits to load the related-items and related-docs on the same form?

If this is possible, please would you point me in the right direction?

Thank you kindly.

Dear Wikus,
I do recommend not to rush and do all at the same time, especially if it's your first time configuring either of these, because it's easy to make one small mistake and break something.

But it is doable - you just need to place the code for both in the JavaScript editor. Make sure that Related Docs and Related Items have different CSS classes, as it is in the instruction - that's very important.

First, I would recommend configuring Related Documents, as it should be easier. You'll find an instruction here - https://spform.com/documentation/related-documents
Next, you can either configure Related Items for Quick Edit or Standard mode. We also have videos for these on our channel - https://www.youtube.com/spform

Hello Nikita, thank you for the response.

I have done at least 10 different instances with multiple related-items, i am quite comfortable doing it now without the guide with no problems.
My big query was just not knowing if I can put both commands in the JavaScript editor or if there was a specific way that I had to do it.

I will give it a shot and let you know how it goes.

Thanks again for the assistance!

Just checking back in to say thank you, worked like a charm!

I have 3 related lists and 1 document library working perfectly to my form.
